Checking Tire Condition
*EASY*
Besides checking tire pressure and tread wear, examine each tire for abnormalities such as bulges, blisters, cracks, tears, holes or any other surface irregularities. Look at both the tread and sidewall. These conditions may be the early signs of tire failure. If such abnormalities are present, or if internal damage is suspected, take your car to a professional automotive technician for further examination and possible replacement.
Also, look for road debris like stones, glass, or nails that may be wedged in the tread and remove them with pliers. Do not forget to check the wheel. Look for dents, bends, air leaks, heavy corrosion or any other defect. Have the wheel replaced if necessary. Make sure all valve stems have valve caps firmly installed.
